After many years of service, our present show
arena no longer meets the needs of the Association and has become unsafe for some types of shows. We would like to be able to
hold California State Horseman's Association approved shows as well as
dressage, team penning, gymkhanas, clinics etc. We are in the planning stage,
gathering design information, best practices, as well as ideas from our
membership and once the membership finalizes the design, work will begin.

We will need to install all the new heavy duty pipe fencing and gates suitable to use for team penning or roping as well as horse show events The arena will also need to widened by five feet to meet CSHA requirements. We are also looking to
shorten the arena by 20 feet so that it is more usable for all events.

Second, the existing footing needs to be replaced to make it more
usable in the winter, rebuild the announcers’ stand and improve the drainage of
the arena and surrounding area. The present arena watering system sprinkler
heads will also need to be replaced and improved so the complete arena is
watered for dust control.
